Hola Yaounde! :When Spain Made the University of Yaounde I Vibrate.
On April 24, the Spanish Embassy turned the University of Yaoundé I’s Majestic Cinema esplanade into a stage for cultural friendship.
It was not just a night out. On April 24, on the campus of the University of Yaounde I, the esplanade of the Majestic Cinema turned into an international stage. Organized by the Spanish Embassy in Cameroon, local and Spanish artists delivered a free concert, blending their musical universes in front of a captivated student crowd.
It was a first in Yaounde . Not just a simple concert, but a cultural bridge named Holà Yaounde. The embassy’s stated goal: to celebrate Hispanic-Cameroonian friendship through the universal language of music. And the free entry allowed all students on campus to step into the Majestic Cinema for the occasion.
The lineup was a statement of intent. On the Cameroonian side, established names: Cysoul, with his smooth voice; Malora, bringing her contagious energy; and Valdez Mbang, adding a jazz touch. The Spanish guest was Ale Acosta, former leader of the electro-flamenco band Fuel Fandango, who came with his machines and guitar.
The lack of a ticket policy turned the evening into a true neighborhood celebration. Students, local residents from the university area, and curious passersby all mingled on the esplanade, proving that a diplomatic event can also be festive and spontaneous.

Actually a very good experience
